Twice a year, when new trainees join EUROCLIO, they are given three induction days where they learn more about how EUROCLIO works and the various projects or areas of work that they can be involved with during their time here.
EUROCLIO offers university students in the final stage of their University Bachelor degree or in their Master degree the opportunity to enrich their knowledge with the practical experience of working for an International NGO in the field of History Education.
As a trainee, you will learn all about the world of an International NGO. You will get in touch with different institutions, donors, funding organs, and international associations and learn about the importance of networking, organising and reporting. Your tasks will include communication with members and partners, public announcements, fundraising and all aspects of event management. It is also possible to do a research traineeship.
For our Spring/Summer traineeships (February 2016 – July/August 2016) we are looking for dedicated students that have:
• An interest in History, History Education and International Cooperation;
• Skills in Standard Microsoft Office Applications;
• Flexibility, strong motivation and the capability to work independently;
• Fluency in written and spoken English, which is the working language at the Secretariat. Knowledge of any other language is an advantage.
Students who are interested can send their letter of motivation and CV by e-mail to Judith Geerling ( email@example.com). The deadline is 1 November. For more information including experiences from former trainees, go to our website.
