Cross-border project on ‘Children of War in Europe’: Results are online

“We realized that we were not actually taught different facts at our schools, but different aspects were pointed out, resulting in quite different images of the same historical events in our minds.” This is how two Serbian and Slovenian participants summarize their experiences with multiperspectivity in a European online project. Both took part in the Anglophone online seminar ‘Children of War in Europe’ on the Koerber Foundation’s History Campus. From April to September 2015, 18 young Europeans from 13 different European countries worked in binational tandems, researching previously unknown fates of war children from different European perspectives and learned about the other’s national narratives.
