It contains 107 pages of news about the domain where history and human rights intersect, especially about the censorship of history and the persecution of historians around the globe, as reported by various human rights organizations and other sources. This circular is sent to 1070 historians and others interested in the past all over the world.

  • History of the Censorship of History (1945-2010) [PhD student]
  • Censorship of Archives (1945-2010) [PhD student]
  • Legal Cases on Posthumous Privacy and Reputation (1980-2010) [Postdoc]

"Responsible History" by Antoon De Baets PDF Print E-mail

 Antoon De Baets, founder of the Network of Concerned Historians and EUROCLIO Individual member, has recently had his new book “Responsible History” published by Berghahn Books in New York and Oxford. In his book he proposes to all concerned historians a theory to identify, prove and evaluate the ways in which history can be abused.
