Connecting Europe through History Education. Addressing civil society through a series of events connecting higher and secondary history education from an European perspective.

Main aims/outcomes:

Stimulating debate, research and informing European citizens on their common history and culture. Bringing together representatives of organisations acting on history education on an European level. These organisation include EUROCLIO itself, the EUROPEAUM network, Council of Europe, UNESCO, the Georg Eckert institute and more. During the project over 900 History Educators have been involved in over 22 seminars in different countries.

Vera Gowlland-Debbas , Professor of Public International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva gave an interesting presentation under the title "The Universal Declaration of Human Rights after the War: Some are more rights than others".
