In August the five-yearly International Congress of Historical Sciences will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During this event the International Students of History Association is also present, hosting two sessions called ‘The Historians’ Toolkit Sessions’. The members of ISHA are focusing on the future of historians and their subject. On Wednesday 25 August (14:00-17:00) and Thursday 26 August (09:00-13:00), you are invited to join these sessions and give your opinion about the influence of politics and economy on historical research, but also to talk about the advantages of internet and learn from the future generation of historians. Also, partner organizations such as Euroclio and Clioh-RES will shed their light on the phenomenon of historical networks. Have a look at the ISHA website and www.ichs2010.org for more information.
