Blueprint Research Centre at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland UK evaluates governmental and non-governmental educational initiatives and other developments that have an impact on the lives of children and young people. The staff represents a range of different academic disciplines and most of their research projects are interdisciplinary. Recent relevant projects have focused on history education, citizenship, health education and personal and social education.
Current projects include: An evaluation of integrated children’s services in Scotland, commissioned by the Scottish Government; An evaluation of a drugs prevention programme in England commissioned by the British Government; An evaluation of drugs education programmes in Scotland, commissioned by the Scottish National Health Service
