European Association of History Educators

Under the umbrella of the projects Exploring European History and Discovering Diversity: An Integrative Approach to the History of Migrants, a successful meeting of the Historiana Editors and Contributors Groups took place in the Joseph Karolyi Castle in Fehervarcsurgo, Hungary on June 23-27 2010. Several decisions of great significance for the future of the Historiana initiative were reached. As the group of Contributors presented their interesting case studies, the group of Editors shared their expertise on the value of multiperspectivity as well as on the significance of the use of pictures and images on history education. As the navigational structure of the Historiana project is becoming more and more concrete, the Historiana Technical Team will be ready to present the main parameters of the Historiana website by November.  Looking forward to the  further development of the Historiana project from November onwards, a positive message for the future of Historiana is already evident.
