altOn the 9th and 10th of September 2011 the first Anna Lindh NL Forum took place in the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

The two days of the Forum were filled with group discussions, the screening of a film, a play and several discussion rounds. Thirty-one people, from the Netherlands, Belgium and even Egypt, participated in the different activities. The biggest goal of the Forum was to bring the members of the Dutch Anna Lindh network together and to discuss their views on the future of the network.

The first day was filled with groupdiscussions about different themes, like racism in traditions, integration of minorities in Dutch society and how The Netherlands and Europe could and should respond to the recent developments in the Arab countries. On the second day there were presentations of the members of the Dutch network about their projects, discussions about the Dutch network and the Anna Lindh Foundation in general. Also, Jean-Pierre Goor, network coordinator of the Belgian network shared his experiences. Fortunately Corrinne Grassi from the Anna Lindh Foundation in Alexandria was able to join the discussion. EUROCLIO feels it can look back on two very interesting and productive days, filled with both entertainment and in-depth discussions, as well as the possibility to meet other members of the network.
