EUROCLIO Association Board, Executive Director Joke van der Leew –Roord and Project Manager Jonathan Even-Zohar from Secretariat, met in Copenhagen (22-24 September) where we had the opportunity to discuss several issues related to Association, such as the coming Antalya Annual Conference, Finances, Projects, Policy etc, following the Autumn Board Meeting routine. The meeting was successful and thanks to Peder Wiben, our Danish board member, was cost effective, as he offered his house for the two days’ endless hours of work, and performed a warm hospitality. The board, among others, enjoyed a cultural program visiting Royal Tapestries Museum, depicting alternatively important events in Danish history, as well as a visit to Christiannia where there was celebration and events on its 40th anniversary. The city of Copenhagen was cool and offered us a rather warm weather and a beautiful sunshine, most of the time.
